I’m a mathematician with training in data science and web programming. You can email me at

I’ve made heavy use of logistic regression, principal component analysis and hierarchical modeling, together with collaborative filtering and random forests.

I recently analyzed a public dataset to create a model to predict matches at speed dating events. This led to interesting discoveries about the distribution of the group consensus on people’s attractiveness, variation  in perceptions of somebody’s attractiveness, and how people’s romantic preferences vary.  You can read more about the project here .

My code for the project is in R and is available on Github.  Aside from R, I’m also proficient in Ruby, Rails, SQL, Javascript, and Backbone,js. You can see a clone of StackOverflow that I made using these technologies: (live | source).
